The surroundings were lovely, and both the meal and service were wonderful. We came for lunch on Ferragosto and had a great experience. Thanks from four New Zealanders and our Italian exchange student.

The only thing I could pick on is that the bit of road at the entrance could be better, but honestly, the place is just perfect. The gardens are awesome, it's very clean, and the views are insane in every direction. It feels like a place from a fairy tale. The service was perfect, and the food came as lots of little dishes, all with great flavors and timed so there was always something on the plate. Prices were very fair and inexpensive. We'll definitely go back!

We hit the usual highway closure on the way and arrived late, so we called the restaurant. They told us not to worry and that they'd wait for us. Outside gives you a hint of what the place is like, but opening the door feels like stepping into an enchanted world. There's a roaring fireplace, and the place is gorgeous. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. The last treat was the "dolci della credenza," sweets traditionally kept in cupboards in homes in the Abruzzo hinterland. Highly recommended.
