La Corte is in the heart of Teramo, a charming place with a private entrance into an inner courtyard that leads to the rooms and apartments. My family and I stayed for two nights in a lovely top-floor apartment. It was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed, including coffee, a kettle, dishes, and an oven. There’s no elevator, and we climbed two flights of stairs. No staff are at reception, but the area is under video surveillance, so we felt safe. Teramo’s cathedral and main square are just a short walk away, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. It was a really nice first visit to Abruzzo and Teramo.
The center of Teramo made it easy for me to meet up with my university friends after coming in from out of town. Bars and restaurants are plentiful nearby, and although breakfast isn’t served here, there’s a café just a few steps from the door. I stayed three nights in a tiny second-floor room without an elevator. It had everything I needed, was clean and well kept, and at €50 a night, the value was excellent. The Wi-Fi could be better. There’s no reception or staff on site, and I didn’t see the owner during my stay, though video surveillance throughout the area helped me feel safe. I’d recommend it for short visits and good value in the city center.
The beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, and the apartment had all the equipment we needed. We stayed in a ground-floor place with two large bedrooms and a roomy living area with a kitchenette. There was a dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, coffee maker, towels, and air conditioning, with one unit in the living space and another in the bedroom area. In hot weather, that setup could be a bit awkward, especially for two couples, since the bedroom doors would need to stay open for the cool air to reach them. I also missed having a TV in the living room; there were TVs in the bedrooms. B&B La Corte is tucked into a courtyard on a pedestrian side street in central Teramo, so you can't drive right up to it. We found parking fairly nearby and walked over easily. Bars and restaurants are just outside, and there's a supermarket about 200 meters away.
My apartment was spacious, clean, and furnished with good taste. The place feels new and well cared for, with handy extras like a coffee machine, kettle, washing machine, and dishwasher, plus modern, practical rooms. I also noticed there are different types of accommodation, including single rooms as well as one-bedroom apartments. It's set in a historic portico right in central Teramo, with bars, restaurants, and traditional places to eat close by in the pedestrian area. A comfortable, elegant base that worked well for a relaxing weekend, and would suit a business trip too. It was easy to feel at home there.
I was in Teramo for work for two nights, and the room with its own bathroom was roomy, welcoming, and had what I needed. The cleanliness really stood out: everything was neat and smelled lovely. They'd also left shower gel, soap, and shampoo in the bathroom, which I appreciated. The B&B is new, nicely furnished, and in the historic center, so bars and restaurants are an easy walk away. One small thing I'd add is a practical towel rack in the bathroom, which is why I rated the service four stars. Otherwise, I had a positive stay and would suggest it to people visiting for work or a few days in central Teramo.
