The restaurant staff were friendly, and the hotel sits right by the local square. Our room was small and old-fashioned, though the balcony was pleasant. Smoke from a neighbour and people on the terrace kept drifting over. We arrived on a Wednesday and found the building closed, not realizing it was their day off. A neighbour gave me a phone number, and that sorted things out quickly. Later, after dinner, we saw a guest and two young children taking shelter from the rain because they didn't have a key to the front door, which was locked for the rest day.

The regular meals were fine, though pricey. But €9 for a tiny serving of fries and a counted number of nuggets for the kids? That's unacceptable, a complete no-go.

The service was professional, and they had a good wine selection. We enjoyed the pizza, pasta, and steak, all very good. A very pleasant restaurant.

The staff were very kind and helpful. It's a nice, simple hotel, though the rooms could do with a revamp.
