Really top!

The terrace overlooking the sea was such a nice surprise, and the big bathroom had a rain shower that helped wash away the stress of hours on the highway. Our room was spacious and clean too. We found the place by chance. Downstairs, the pizzeria is also part of the property, and the staff were super friendly, welcoming us without a reservation. The pizzas were amazing. A very pleasant stop.

The place itself is new, very clean, and has a beautiful view, which makes what happened even more disappointing. On the evening of August 15th, a short circuit cut the power to the restaurant and the first floor where our room was. These things can happen anywhere, and I would have understood if the hotel had actually helped us. We were in the hotel restaurant having dinner when the outage forced us to leave halfway through. Back at our room, the touch screen for the entry code was dead, so we couldn't get in. There was no message or response from management. We were stuck outside until midnight and missed the fireworks display planned for that evening. The girls at the restaurant eventually found a key and got us in. With no air conditioning, we slept with the balconies open for air, but street noise kept us awake until morning. Breakfast wasn't served the next day, and nobody let us know why. Our chargers had burned out, and there was no reception or anyone we could contact about the problem. Only on August 19 did an email arrive promising a refund for breakfast. A few euros back wasn't what we needed. I would have preferred some help or even an answer on the phone while we were trying to get inside that night. Sometimes appearances can be misleading.

The room had every comfort and the hotel felt very modern. It looked just like the photos, actually even nicer, and the terrace faces the sea. In the evening, we walked along the lovely, well-kept promenade into the historic center, with its typical eateries, seafood restaurants, artisan shops, and lively feel. We'll come back!
