The place itself is good, but we didn’t get a very fair welcome. The sink is leaking, and there’s no hot water in the shower. 😓

We called Gianmarco at 10:45 on a Friday night during the comics show, with no booking and nowhere to sleep. He was welcoming and helpful right away. The room had a double bed and two bunk beds, plus air conditioning and a fan; the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast came with coffee, milk, and homemade pastries. I parked right outside. The room was taken the following night, but Gianmarco found us another place within minutes. He’s a kind, respectable man, so don’t judge by appearances. Thanks, and see you next time. Gianni and Alessia

Self check-in was easy, and the bathroom was spacious with an oversized shower that I appreciated. The studio was clean and well cared for, and very reasonably priced, though it isn’t central. The only bother was the loud speakers in the entryway and bedroom.

The room itself wasn’t bad, but the place is basically one room in an apartment shared with the owner, more like a rooming house than a B&B. After everything that happened, my rating is terrible. When we first arrived, Giammarco said check-in was at 5:00 PM and wouldn’t let us leave our bags because he wasn’t home. He sent us to a luggage storage place at the station that didn’t exist, then to an information point that was closed for vacation. In the end he came by car and took our bags to the room, but I’d already spent 1.5 hours struggling to sort it out. We got to the B&B after 5:00 PM and called to be let in. He said he’d be there in a few minutes. After 15 minutes we called again, and he said he was on his way. It took 20 minutes for him to get back to us, and he said if we called a third time, he’d tell us to go to hell. I thought our calls were justified, especially since we were worried about the bags. On the morning we left, he said 8:00 AM was too early for breakfast and gave us two packaged Pan Gocciole. I also forgot the cover when we checked out. I told him I’d collect it seven days later, after coming back from the Tremiti Islands. When I called from town, he said he didn’t know where it was and that I couldn’t come check because there were nasty people inside, among other things I don’t believe. First he offered to send it, then said he’d never seen the cover again. About the owner's reply: I don’t feel like answering you. You’d have been better off thinking about what an unhappy customer said and making sure it doesn’t happen again. I know I haven’t lied about any of the events, and had no reason to. You do have a reason to say my account isn’t true, since nothing you wrote in response is true. So we’re supposed to be smelly? Hahaha. I’m probably the most hygiene-conscious guy I know, but coming from an overweight, sweaty 50-year-old with an unkempt beard, I’ll take that as a huge compliment. Readers can decide for themselves. I hope they take this to heart and never choose your place. Never again!

I spent 3 days and 4 nights here and had a really good time. Gianmarco, the owner, is friendly and helpful. If you pass through Termoli, you have to take a ride with him on his Ape around the historic center. See you next time! 😁
