Such a peaceful, recharging place, surrounded by nature. It’s quiet and calm, with a real sense of rest. The owner is a lovely, smiling woman, kind, helpful, and understanding. The rooms are clean and welcoming.

Our one-night stay was a real letdown. The house smelled strongly musty as soon as we walked in. The floors were dirty and covered in dead bugs, the sheets were stained and may not have been changed since the previous night, and the bathroom was filthy. There was urine around the toilet and hair in the shower tray, which also wouldn’t drain. The entrance door was broken and wouldn’t shut properly. We told the owner about all this and asked her to come check, but she refused. We decided to leave early, and got neither an apology nor a refund.

For a double room, the price feels excessive, especially in low season on a weekday. The outside has no lighting, and there was no heating inside, even though reception had assured us it was working properly. The bathroom linens were another issue, and there wasn’t even shower gel. The property has a lot of potential but is poorly managed.
