The staff ruined our holiday. We were running on the treadmill in the hotel gym when someone from the staff kicked us out and shouted at us in Italian. We weren’t given any warning, and we don’t speak Italian. The customer service was horrible, and I hated every second of it. Do not come here. The walls were poorly maintained and chipped in places, the mini fridge didn’t work at all, and there was nothing special about the rooms. There was no room service, and the walls let through so much noise that we could hear everything. It was very expensive to use the swimming pool. The bathroom smelled foul, and the toilet brush was disgusting.

The staff at Hotel Michelangelo Palace were friendly and attentive, and they handled check-in and our requests professionally. Our room was spacious and clean, with updated decor and modern amenities. The bed was comfortable, so we slept well before heading home. The location worked well for us, right across from the train station and handy for exploring the beautiful Umbria region. We weren’t able to eat at the hotel restaurant because there was an event going on. My experience was largely positive.

It’s an average, rather dated hotel, fine for one night. The location is good, right in the heart of town, but getting in means dealing with a few stairs, which is awkward with heavy bags. I’m sure there are better options in Terni.

The staff were all kind and professional, and the hotel has what you’d expect from a four-star place. Breakfast was really good, and there’s a gym, sauna, and jacuzzi. It’s a nice spot to relax, and I highly recommend it. Thanks to the staff.

We got exactly what we paid for. Clean place, nice staff, and a good location. The bench in the back yard and the pool area were great.
