The owner’s kindness is what we’ll remember most. At 7 am, he drove us to the port for our ferry without us even asking. That thoughtful gesture made the stay unforgettable. My partner and I spent one night at this charming hotel in Terracina. We were welcomed with smiles from the moment we arrived, and the owner went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious and generous, with personal attention to every detail that made us feel like VIP guests. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with tasteful decor. Its location worked perfectly for us, close to the port and within walking distance of some good restaurants and attractions. We’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting a warm, welcoming stay in Terracina, and we can’t wait to return.

Francesca, Mario, his Bella partner, and his daughter made the stay feel like a warm hug after a hard day. They were incredibly thoughtful and went above and beyond. I highly recommend Hotel Hegelberger to travellers looking for homely hospitality and a divine view.

The splendid view over Teracina and the sea makes this a lovely, authentic hotel and a wonderfully relaxing place. Our host Mario gave us a great welcome and was very friendly. I’ll definitely come back!

The buffet breakfast had both sweet and savory choices, all freshly made. The owners were kind and professional, and we had a great stay. It’s tucked away and can be a little hard to find, though. Our room’s beautiful terrace looked out over the sea and Mount Circeo. The hotel is close to the historic center, and about a 10-minute walk gets you there through the lovely Terracina square. That makes it a good way to avoid the city’s chaos while still being able to explore on foot. The Temple of Jupiter is nearby too, with a fantastic view and a nice walk if you want some exercise. I only took off a star because the bathroom didn’t have a bidet.
