Villa degli Squali Suite Home

The villa itself is beautiful, which makes the poor management such a shame. Cleanliness was bad, to put it mildly, and our newlywed suite, where I also got ready, couldn’t be used because the shower and toilet were clogged. The sewer drain right by the front door and the veranda where we ate leaked several times. We had to hose it down and disinfect it, and the smell was like an open sewer. We’d rented the whole villa for several days with our family after getting married nearby. On arrival the power kept cutting out, and the living room was like an oven. When I asked for the air conditioner remote, I was told the unit was broken. That evening we also found the garden lights didn’t work. We were told someone would need to come fix them. We had paid separately for a party at the villa the day after the wedding and asked them to sort out the problems. First we were told workers would come clean, but they never showed. Then the owner said it wasn’t a party villa, so why charge another €500 for a party? He offered to reimburse me and said we couldn’t have the party, even though catering was booked for the next day and 30 people were coming. There wasn’t even a small refund in the end.

The villa opens straight onto the sea, with direct access from the garden. Our room was spotless. Such a fabulous location, we’ll be back!!! 😊

I couldn’t stay because of a family issue, but I want to thank the managers for their professionalism and dedication. They were understanding and very kind about it. Thanks again.

The room was damp and tiny, a disaster. They advertise services that aren’t available, and if something goes wrong there’s nobody to help. Liars!!
