The pool was lovely, and I liked that each room had its own designated place to lie down. The setting is beautiful, private, and peaceful, and you can tell the property has a history. Inside, though, it feels quite dated, with old furniture, and the mattresses were uncomfortable enough that I could feel everything. Some staff were nice, but most were honestly pretty rude when asked for things, and sometimes seemed to find talking with guests a chore.

The room had damage, no accessible power outlets, and lights that didn’t work. Breakfast wasn’t good either.

We stayed here on a school trip, and the staff were very hospitable, taking care of everything we could have needed. They nicknamed me “The Voice of God,” mostly because I was so loud when giving instructions. It’s a nice place tucked into a wooded area, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay for a school field trip.

I’ll never stay here again. The staff were despicable and handled our complaints about our health terribly. There were dead bugs in the room, plus cobwebs, spiders, and mosquitoes waiting when we arrived. The mold was horrifying, both its smell and appearance. It was obvious the rooms weren’t being cleaned. The showers flooded the whole bathroom, and that just fed the mold already growing in them. This is a sorry excuse for a hotel. Save yourself.

The room fell short of what I expected, and breakfast was poor. It felt like a 2 star hotel.
