We spent two weeks here as a family and had a wonderful time. Cappana was just what we wanted, set among olive groves and vineyards in a quiet spot away from the usual routes. Loro Ciufenna is a lovely little town nearby, with nice shops and cafes as well as a small supermarket for everyday bits. There were three other families staying while we were there, so our son had children to play with and got to practice his French and German. We also joined another family for the cooking evening, which was superb. Claudia was so warm and helpful. She found and booked a session for us at nearby stables, and told us about a local vineyard where we watched our wine being bottled, corked, and labelled. Thanks for such a lovely stay 😊

The pool and beautiful rooms were lovely, but what stood out most was the setting: open grass, a river, trees, and birds all around. It felt like a full immersion in nature.

We had an unforgettable stay at this fairytale farmhouse, conveniently only ten minutes from the A1 and between Florence, Arezzo, and Siena.

Such a picturesque, romantic spot, and everyone was very kind. It’s a lovely choice for a nature getaway, even with children.
