After booking through Airbnb, I noticed there were no reviews for the property there, then found negative Google reviews. I asked the host about the accommodation’s current condition, but got no clear answers and then no response. Airbnb told me I’d have to cancel at my own expense. I booked somewhere else, but planned to check in anyway and document what I believed was false advertising for a credit card chargeback. The hosts cancelled my reservation 90 minutes before check-in. Very disappointing service from Airbnb. Don’t book this property.

The pictures on Airbnb didn’t match what we experienced. On our first day, we saw a rat in the pool house. We were told it was a mouse and that we should accept it because we were in nature. I’ve never encountered that kind of arrogance. Wonderful Italy and Airbnb were both unwilling to listen or help during our stay. Stay away and look at the photos here to see what you’ll actually find.

The house was filthy, dirty, and full of broken things. Nothing worked properly, including the toilets, which wouldn’t flush, and there was no hot water despite the renovated bathrooms. The beautiful photos bear no resemblance to the house’s dilapidated condition. It’s disgraceful that such a dirty house is offered for sale. We can’t recommend Wonderful Italia at all. Avoid this property to save yourself money and a lot of hassle.

There was no water, which made washing and using the toilet a huge problem. The toilets and water storage are shown in the photo, and their setup is a catastrophe. The whole house was filthy and things were broken everywhere. The hygiene was a disaster. I don’t recommend this villa for a vacation.
