The pool and sunbathing lawn made it easy to unwind, and the spot was just as handy for hikes and outings. What really made our stay at the family-run Schallerhof special was how welcome we felt, almost like visiting friends, alongside some fantastic food. We'd happily return.

We’ve been spending our holidays in Prissian for years and are glad to keep staying with the Walzl family at the Schallerhof. Its quiet setting works well for tougher, longer hikes as well as easy day trips. The rooms and chalets were superb, and everything was clean. Breakfast and dinner were lovely, especially dinner, with friendly service throughout. Thank you for another wonderful stay.

The food was the highlight for us, fresh, delicious, and fantastic every day. We also loved the view of the town’s castle, and there was everything we wanted for relaxing, including a sauna and pool. The staff were so friendly. This is a great fit if you prefer a small, intimate place with high-quality accommodation. We’d give it more than five stars if we could.

Dinner was fantastic, with fresh food, and we’ve rarely eaten so well. We had a wonderful vacation, too. The rooms were modern, spacious, spotless, and came with a lovely balcony. The Walzl family made us feel right at home with their warm, generous hospitality. Absolutely perfect! ❤️
