Amalfatah

We spent two nights in the mini-apartment and found it very clean. I’d also like to thank Mrs. Isabella, the owner of Amalfitah, publicly for helping us through a difficult time.

The shared garden has loungers, a comfy hammock, and a small table for eating outside or looking at the stars. There are four cute, comfortable rooms with kitchenettes, fridges, microwaves, and what you need to cook, plus a large bathroom. You’re surrounded by nature, with cuddly dogs and a sweet horse. Isabella is very sweet, and her father is quiet but has kind, gentle eyes. The access road is dirt, so I wouldn’t recommend a low car. A Panda is fine!

If you’re drawn to quiet, nature, starry skies, and the silence at night, this place has all of that. We also found a charming, tastefully furnished studio apartment with a very comfortable bed, a roomy bathroom with a window, and a practical little kitchenette. A small table and chairs on the private terrace made it easy to enjoy breakfast and dinner in peace, without disturbance. We’re grateful that Piero and Isa created this place and opened it up to travelers and tourists.

The dirt road is worth taking, and Tuerredda Beach is very close, with plenty of other beaches nearby. We recommend Malfatano Beach for a quiet outing with a small child. Pula’s center, shops, and nightlife are about half an hour away. We spent six peaceful days enjoying the view, which was unlike anything we’d seen before. The owners were kind. We made good use of the place, having breakfast with the view, going to the beach, then returning around 5 pm to relax some more. The laundry basin and clotheslines were handy, and the studio had everything we needed, even a coffee maker and coffee. The bathroom was huge. Thanks for having us, and see you next time!
