Hotel Jasmine

Our room and the restaurant were clean, and the room was spacious, with a lovely wall color, a large bathroom, and a private balcony looking out over the village. We stayed one night, April 8-9, 2022, outside the tourist season, so service seemed limited. A few things made the stay uncomfortable. The room smelled of smoke. Maybe previous guests had smoked, though I thought it was more likely the owner or family, since we saw them smoking in the restaurant after we returned from dinner. The bathroom had just one hook, and the shower towels were tiny, so there was nowhere useful to hang wet ones. Water barely came from the sink tap, making it hard to wash my hands or face, let alone brush my teeth. There were no slippers, and the tile floor was ice cold. The balcony chairs were dirty, though I realize it wasn't tourist season and they may not have been cleaned. If you're visiting from abroad, expect an Italian-style breakfast of cakes, cookies, and coffee, with no proper bread or cheese. I was hungry again by 11. I wanted to give the hotel four stars, but those issues held me back.

The location was a real highlight, and this hotel has almost everything you need for a lovely holiday. Staff were professional and kind. Breakfast was good, and dinner and the drinks selection may have been even better.

In Teulada, this is a clean, reasonably priced hotel with large rooms. It's a handy base for visiting some of the beautiful beaches in southwest Sardinia. The host, Gildo, can tell you about the best places to see.

The staff are friendly and nice, though I've stayed in better hotels in this category. The walls are a little thin, so you can practically hear your neighbors thinking :)
