B&B La Baronessa

Roberto made our three nights here in February especially enjoyable. He was easy to talk to and had useful suggestions for places to visit and good places to eat in the city. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic, just right to set us up for a day around Etna. My husband and I would definitely stay again, and hope to one day. Thanks again, Roberto!

The garden was such a peaceful, lovely spot to relax, and Giovanni was always available by text when we had questions. La Baronessa was an ideal base in Riposto, in a neighborhood where we could walk easily to cafes, the port, and markets. Giovanni also served lovely coffee and different pastries in the morning. We enjoyed our stay so much, I can't say enough about it.

The garden patio was nice, with three cats and three turtles. If you don't like cats, you may end up having to shoo them off the table at breakfast! The building is old, with spacious rooms but very tiny bathrooms, and the rooms had an odor. It's near a busy road, so we heard a lot of traffic even with the window and double doors shut. Probably not to everyone's taste.

The garden and apartment have so many charming little details, each with a real story. My sister and I spent a week in the palazzo last summer and loved everything. Giovanni looked after us so well and gave us great suggestions about what to see, where to go, and how to get there. He became a friend. Giovanni, if you're reading this, I hope we see each other soon haha. La Baronessa gave us an authentic Sicilian experience. Love from Hungary.
