Breakfast got the day off to a great start, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel was clean and handy for both the train and ferry. I've stayed in plenty of places, and this is the best one I've been to.

The rooms have been renovated beautifully, with thoughtful tech features, and everything was exceptionally clean. Ricarda, Fillippo, Leonardo & Georgia made us feel especially welcome with genuine Italian hospitality. It's a lovely family-run hotel beside the lake. We'd happily come back, and highly recommend it.

I found the hotel through Google reviews for the area and had a great stay. The service was first class, the amenities were excellent, and I really liked having a balcony. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. I'd recommend it and stay again when I'm back in the area.

We stayed three nights and couldn't find anything to fault. The owners and staff were welcoming and helpful, the place was spotless, and breakfast was fantastic. It's also in an ideal location. A real gem, and a great example of how a hotel should be run.

I don't usually write reviews, but Hotel de Conte deserves the five stars. I was there for two nights in early July, and the recent renovation shows in all the details. Breakfast was included and was wonderful. The owners and staff were the best part, so friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend staying here for a visit to Lake Maggiore and Laveno.
