Residenza Locci

The owners were kind, helpful, and always ready with advice. We were just a few meters from Teulada's center, so it was easy to walk out to the summer festivities at night. The residence itself is newly built, clean, and well kept, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen, appliances, shower, and air conditioning were all good quality. There's a shaded garden and private parking, plus a modern elevator and stairs connecting reception to the other two floors. I'm allergic to cats, so I asked for an apartment on the first floor and had no allergy problems. My family and I stayed here in August 2015, and I'd love to come back for those beautiful white sandy beaches.

Teulada is quiet once the sun goes down. During the day, though, you can get what you need, and the surrounding Sulcis-Inglesiente area has plenty of natural beauty to explore. Residenza Locci was a comfortable place to return to after the beach, and our mini-vacation went well. We arrived on July 6th in the middle of the afternoon, after the winding State Road 195 drive through green hills. Mr. Mario greeted us and was friendly and available whenever we needed help. We chose a room without a kitchenette, though different apartment types are offered, with Wi-Fi available. It had a double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe, large table, small refrigerator, TV, and air conditioning. The sheets and towels were plentiful and spotless, and there was a hairdryer in the bathroom. The whole room was so orderly and clean it felt like Armstrong was the first to set foot on the moon. That same care extended to the leafy garden and the other rooms. The residence's website is clear and well designed, with useful details about the property and area. I'd hesitate to recommend a place in general because you can give bad advice, but not this one.

Teulada suited us because we wanted a peaceful, uncrowded holiday, and it also put many lovely beaches and remarkable archaeological sites within easy reach. We saw a lot during our week there. The apartment was comfortable and well furnished, with air conditioning in every room, which helped when a heatwave started that same week. Ours was on the ground floor, so we had an outdoor area full of all kinds of plants, a lovely sight each time we stepped outside. The owner personally looks after the huge garden around the property, and he's kind and generous. We really enjoyed talking with him and felt welcome and cared for. His son, who manages the residence, was also very helpful and quick to deal with any problem or need. It was a delightful stay at the Locci residence, and I highly recommend it.

For our two-week stay, having a kitchen was a great choice. We were given a ground-floor two-room apartment, which meant we could enjoy the outdoor space in privacy. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and carefully furnished, with Mr. Locci's cabinetmaking experience showing in the details. The residence has an elevator too. It's surrounded by greenery and just a short walk from the well-stocked center of Teulada. Marco, the owner's son who runs the property, was friendly and ready to help with any request. The location makes a good base for seeing this part of Sardinia. We'd gladly return.
