Residence Mirabel

There’s a small but lovely pool for guests, and private parking too. The apartment was clean and spacious, with beautiful views of the lake.

After nearly 20 years of coming to the Residence, we feel completely at home. The owners are very friendly, and the practical apartments have everything an ordinary person needs on vacation. Best of all, it’s wonderfully peaceful and the view over Lake Garda is magnificent. Gardola is a charming town with friendly people, all the shops and restaurants you need. We’ve even made friends here.

It’s a very quiet place to unwind, with gorgeous views of Lake Garda and the mountain villages around it. Residence Mirabel is in a beautiful mountain village, and there’s a small supermarket an easy walk away. The grounds are carefully maintained, with a lovely clean pool and laundry facilities. Each apartment has its own parking spot. The room is functional, with a terrace that has a table, chairs, sun loungers, and a clothes rack.

The view was lovely, and check-in went smoothly with friendly staff. Unfortunately, we had a very mixed stay in Apartment 1. It felt damp as soon as we arrived, and there was extensive mold on the bedroom’s exterior wall. We also saw some in the children’s room. These defects were hard to miss, and it’s disappointing that the apartment is rented in this state. It looked as though someone had tried to paint over the mold, which made things worse. We felt unsafe, especially because mold can be harmful to children’s health. When we raised it with the staff, they said it was due to rain, but that much mold doesn’t appear in such a short time. We weren’t comfortable staying there and definitely wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a shame, because with more care the place could have real potential.
