There’s a lot for families to do, and the restaurant food and service were very good. It’s a beautiful location with an exceptional view, and the hotel is welcoming to children and dogs. The rooms, though, are old, with no air conditioning or soundproofing, so it feels like you’re living with the family next door. The jacuzzi wasn’t clean, and no staff were watching how children behaved around the pool. Even with the bar closed, people gathered outside. With the heat at night and no air conditioning, we had to leave the windows and doors open, so there was a lot of noise. Still, it’s a nice place with plenty of options for families.

We spent a week here for our summer holiday. The apartment balcony had an amazing view, and we liked the spacious rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, kids’ area and kitchen. Some things were frustrating, though. The mattresses were poor quality. I reported it and they were repaired, but they still weren’t very good. We arrived at noon after a long journey and asked about checking in early, but staff didn’t help. We waited four hours with small children and only got the keys at 3:30. The pool closes at 8 pm. If you’re driving, check that your car can manage the steep climb, as I saw several cars stop on the way and people pushing them. The bunk beds were noisy and uncomfortable for older kids. For groceries or pizza you have to go down the hill, since there’s no delivery to the hotel. Bring tissues and basic supplies too, as the hotel provides very little and you have to buy even tissues from them.

Photos don’t show how great this place really is. The food, rooms and apartments were all great, and the lovely staff did so much to make our stay a good one. Limone is only about 20 minutes away. If you’re in northern Italy, this is a place you shouldn’t miss, and I’d highly recommend visiting the other beautiful spot too.

The view is absolutely marvelous, and everyone on the team was kind. The receptionist was especially lovely and helpful. Breakfast had an excellent selection of delicious food, and their cake was fantastic.
