DIMORA1934 Relax&Comfort

We’ve been traveling around Europe for four weeks, through seven countries and twelve hotels, and this was easily our favorite. The modern, immaculate room made us feel like millionaires in a high-end hotel. The hosts welcomed us warmly, hauled both of our 22kg bags up four flights, offered a drink and nibbles, served breakfast, and even sent us off with a little gift of regional items. All of that was included in the cost. They should be proud of what they offer travelers. If we’re ever back near Tirano, we’ll stay at Dimora1934 again.

The family-run place felt like more than a 5-star hotel experience. I can confirm all the positive feedback here and on booking, it’s a must-stay in Tirona. Give yourself at least two nights to enjoy the restaurants and hiking trails, then take the Bernina Express or regular trains to see the Swiss Alps. Just a fantastic stay!

We’ll remember this stay for a long time. The area is beautiful, all green and mountainous, and the hotel has been recently renovated with everything updated. There are keypad-operated doors, USB A and C ports as well as regular outlets, a remote-controlled skylight shutter, and a marble shower floor. No elevator, but Paola’s husband insisted on carrying our suitcases up and down. They’re two of the nicest people we’ve ever met. This may be the nicest place we’ve stayed.

The original family home has been refurbished with modern, classy rooms and facilities, and the design details show real care and good taste. Paola and her husband Christiano put a lot of time into looking after guests. It’s an exceptional boutique Hotel and good value. Anyone lucky enough to get a reservation should go. Highly recommended, and I’ll be back.
