We were only a few kilometers from Merano, and the view from our room was unforgettable: huge French windows opening onto a balcony and the mountains. My partner and I stayed for a few days at the end of last year, and Garni Paler made a wonderful base for a South Tyrol break. The room was spacious, spotless, and fitted with lovely new furnishings. The breakfast had lots of choice and was really good, and the family made us feel welcome from the start. Our Comfort Room was large, with a lovely balcony view over Merano and the pool. The hotel is modernly furnished and very clean. We all felt comfortable and would happily return.

The pool was fantastic, and the Paler family were wonderful hosts. We booked two nights in Dorf Tirol on the spur of the moment, and the kids and we felt at home from the very first minute. Everything was spotless, and the welcome was so warm and family-friendly. What began as a last-minute stay has us saying we'd love to come back. Warm regards to the Paler family.

Lovely location with a great view, and you can set off hiking right from the house. The cable car and bus stop are only a few minutes away. The rooms are very nice, and breakfast was great. Definitely recommend it.
