The Schöpf family and their attentive staff made us feel very welcome. We also loved the spacious, lovely rooms and the pool perched above the hotel. There are beautiful hikes right from the hotel, and Merano is about an hour away on foot or 15 minutes by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kronsbühl.

We spent seven days here and would definitely come back. The hotel is ideally placed for cycling, and the new rooms were lovely. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic, though the motivated, wonderful staff stood out even more. The pool above the hotel has a beautiful view of Tyrol Castle and Thurnstein, and from the hotel there’s also a breathtaking panorama over Merano and the valley.

After 150 km on the bike, I’m still happy to pedal up another 3 km at the end 🤪. The room was wonderful, with great views, and both dinner and breakfast were great. Such a nice family and staff!

I stayed in the lovely south-facing room 101, with a fantastic view of Merano. The pool area was really nice too, looking out at two castles and the valley toward Merano. It’s a family-run hotel, and the restaurant has a beautiful dining room overlooking the valley and Merano, with excellent food.

It’s wonderfully quiet here, and the location is great. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the staff friendly, and the food excellent. What more could you want on holiday?
