Toscana Charme Resort

We found the hotel good value for a beachfront stay, though the area around it isn’t very appealing and there aren’t many places to eat nearby. The outside of the hotel could use some renovation to make it look more inviting, and I’m not sure the five-star rating quite fits. Inside, though, it was good. Our room was spacious and pleasant, and there was direct beach access plus a great playground for the kids. The people working there were fantastic and went out of their way to help us. The rooftop restaurant was also a highlight, with good food, excellent service, and very accommodating staff. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Breakfast is worth getting, since the nearest cafe is quite far away. The room was clean and had everything needed. It was simple rather than luxurious, but nice. The beach is only a few steps away and was clean, though you have to pay to use the shower and toilet. There’s a nice rooftop bar and an infinity pool.

The hotel is just a few steps from the beach, and the rooms are spacious, modern, comfortable, and clean. They’re warm even in winter. The family room has four beds and a small garden, though it faces the road. There’s a nice bar upstairs as well as a swimming pool, but the pools are closed in winter. Breakfast has a wide selection, with everything available.

During breakfast the fire alarm sounded without any warning. Staff gave no instructions or coordinated the evacuation, so guests had to get out on their own. There were no staff members at the assembly point either. That’s a serious failure in basic safety procedures, and it’s not acceptable for a five-star hotel.
