B&B Il Castello

Massimo at the front desk really stood out. When I left, he personally took my luggage to the train station, which was incredibly kind and professional. They also had my room ready at 11 a.m. because they knew I was arriving early, and I appreciated that thoughtful help. Catillo B&B is clean and comfortable, with plenty of character. It’s right by the main sights, restaurants, and charming streets, and the staff were friendly, courteous, and genuinely helpful. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it in Tivoli.

For the price, I had a good stay. They kindly let me drop my luggage off early, and the central location was very convenient. There is some traffic noise, though, so it may be an issue if you sleep lightly or want to lie in. One strange thing was that towels for the other units were kept in my room. Staff had to come in while I was getting ready to head out, so it might not suit you if you need to work in the morning or sleep late.

Lorenzo was a lovely host, very friendly and patient while helping us sort out our Italian TIM SIM cards. We really appreciated the time he spent on that. Our room was bright, clean, and spacious, with a castle view, a comfortable bed, and a good shower. It’s close to interesting parts of town. Breakfast was at a nearby cafe, where we enjoyed great coffee and croissants.

The entrance can be easy to miss since the sign isn’t very clear. It’s opposite the castle, so look for the hotel name by the door and ring the bell. I’ve added a photo of the entrance. The hotel itself is small, with nice rooms in a good spot at the top of town. Some rooms have balconies facing the little castle across the way. The woman looking after us was helpful and very friendly.
