Monica and her husband Marco made this characterful B&B a pleasure to stay in, with great tips and quick replies to questions on WhatsApp. The hosts speak English, German, French, and Italian. They also helped me find nearby parking. The location is convenient, about an 11-minute walk from the train station and close to the historic center and restaurants. Rome is an hour away by train. My room opened off a spacious breakfast area where they brought colazione. There was also a small fridge and kettle for me to use whenever I wanted. The thick palazzo walls meant the Wi-Fi was weak, though I found a spot where the signal worked well. The prices were reasonable. The room layout has a few quirks, as the website pictures show, but it’s a renovated palazzo with a terrace right off the room. If you want a bland, standard hotel room, Hotel Ibis probably has a vacancy. :-)

Marco was a wonderful host and helped us find good places to eat. We had tasty breakfast on the terrace every morning. The room was lovely, and its bathroom was unlike any I’ve seen. The building is one of Tivoli’s oldest, set on a quiet, pretty street. It’s near a supermarket and a piazza full of places to eat, and Villa Gregoriana and Villa D’Este are both walkable. Such a unique place, and I’m so glad we found it.

Monica and Marco were the best hosts. The breakfasts were wonderful, especially the cafe latte, and she even taught us a couple of her great recipes. I'll be back 😘

I was here back in 2012 and still remember how gorgeous the place was. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.
