Relais Tivoli INN

The main downside for me was how little quiet there was at night and early in the morning. The property faces a busy plaza full of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, so music and people talking carried on until the early hours, then the coffee shop opened and the noise started again. If you’re a light sleeper, you may want to reconsider; it suits people who plan to go out at night and don’t mind noise. The location itself is great, just a two-minute walk from villa da este. I stayed for a weekend, and the host met me at the property a few minutes after I arrived. My room was very nice, with a big comfortable bed, coffee maker, bottled water, and a small balcony overlooking the plaza. Each morning came with a voucher for coffee and one or two sweet pastries at the cafe below.

We liked the place so much that we added another night. It’s right in the city centre, within walking distance of everything, and the owner was very friendly. Our front room faced the main square and was noisy at night because there was an ice ring beneath the window playing music until midnight, along with traffic and other general noise. We spoke to Alessandra, who happily moved us to a quieter room. Everything else was just perfect. Thank you.

Alessandra made us feel welcome even before we arrived, and I really enjoyed my stay. Relais Tivoli Inn is a cosy five-room B&B just across from Piazza Garibaldi in Tivoli, less than 70 m from the entrance to Villa D'Este. The renovated rooms have spacious, tidy bathrooms, and the price was quite reasonable. For a balcony facing Garibaldi's Square, I’d suggest asking for either the "Minimal" or the "Jazz" room.

The room was beautiful and supremely comfortable, with a wraparound balcony and a fantastic view over Piazza Garibaldi. Alessandra, the owner, gave us a special pass for free parking. She was friendly and efficient when welcoming us. Brava !!
