The restaurant was one of our best meals during a two-week trip through Italy. I love cooking and often eat at Michelin restaurants, and I was blown away by how consistently good the dishes were. We went for dinner twice and lunch once. I’m still thinking about the soft poached egg with tarragon and truffle, and the carpaccio. The wine was top-notch and surprisingly cheap. The staff were especially lovely. I’ve forgotten her name, but the blonde woman with shorter hair was so kind. We came straight here after our wedding in Italy to rest and relax, and the whole visit felt magical. The photos don’t do it justice. Our package included a couples massage, champagne by the pool, and dinner at their restaurant. Everything felt luxurious, from choosing our room pillow to poolside lunch delivery and the comfy bathrobes. As an American who couldn’t bring a good hair dryer, I also appreciated having one of the best quality dryers of all the hotels we stayed in. The spa and massage were peaceful and restorative. The grounds are stunning, and we loved walking through the vineyards and olive groves in the morning, then enjoying the view of Todi from the pool. We hope to return for a milestone anniversary because the stay meant so much to us.

The only things I’d change: the saunas weren’t hot, or even warm, enough, and some glassware in the bathroom would have been nice alongside a bottle of house water. I had a great massage, and the top red wines were excellent. The restaurant food was very good, and breakfast was delicious, with lots of vegan choices. The rooms and pool are beautiful, and the staff are fantastic. This is a fabulous, exceptional place.

We really liked where this place is, and the restaurant was very good. Sabrina looked after us there and was incredible. The rooms were okay by Italian countryside standards. The hotel staff were less welcoming, especially the woman at checkout. We asked to leave at noon instead of 11 am and got a hard time about it. There seemed to be only one or two cleaners, and they weren’t rushing to turn the room over when we checked out at 11:30. It’s a lovely property in Umbria, and we enjoyed the location and restaurant.

We spent most of our time at the resort, especially by the indoor and outdoor pools and in the spa for the saunas and massages. The grounds are scenic and cozy, and the rooms feel both luxurious and homey. There’s also a vineyard for anyone who enjoys wine. Breakfast was a lovely spread each morning, and the lunch and dinner menus use ingredients grown on the property. The town is a short drive away, but we were happy staying put. My husband and I visited Umbria last summer, and we still think about Roccafiore. It’s such a peaceful getaway. We only wish we’d stayed longer.

My daughter got married here, and we stayed for three nights. The staff were very accommodating, and I enjoyed the wines too. It’s an upscale place near Todi, with wonderful views in every direction. Everything was well kept, and the property has an artistic feel. I’d happily recommend it.
