I loved the look of the room when we first walked in, with its stone walls and wooden beams, and its central location in Todi. The owner was friendly and even bought a baby cot just for our stay. She also helped us find parking. But the room was dirty, with dust, grime, and cobwebs. Maybe those old floors and walls are hard to clean. The bed was on a steel-grid mezzanine that squeaked all night, and dirt had collected in the gaps. The heating unit sat right beside the bed and was so noisy that we couldn’t leave it on overnight in December. I’m torn about the place, but I wouldn’t return.

The apartment is lovely, with nice furnishings and a central location. It could use some soap, and the queen-size bed was a drawback, but otherwise it’s beautiful.
