We’ve been to La Torriola twice already and are planning another stay next year. In June, the birdsong and the scent and color of the wild flowers made it feel especially lovely. The hosts, Maurizio and his daughters, are delightful and always around if you need help. It’s close to Todi, though a little off the beaten track, which adds to the charm. The organic farm produces eggs, olive oil, wine, and honey, which are available and included in the welcome package. The rooms are good and equipped with what you need, and the swimming pool looks out over Todi.

The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely private garden. Our boys, aged 2 and 7, had a great time and were well looked after. The farm has fresh eggs and tasty tomatoes from its own production, and there are lots of places to discover nearby. This is a peaceful, simple, serene little oasis among olive and walnut trees, with a refreshing breeze and a beautiful pool facing Todi. Maurizio and his daughter Martina go out of their way to make sure everything is fine.

We had a great, relaxing week at agriturismo La Torriola in September 2021. Maurizio and his daughter Martina were friendly hosts and did all they could to make our stay restful. They welcomed us with products from their agriturismo, including olive oil, eggs, jam, and wine. The setting is peaceful, with a lovely view of medieval Todi from the terrace and pool. There are also interesting places such as Orvieto and Assisi in the region, if you drive out.

Maurizio is a charming host and very helpful. The apartments are private, roomy, and well equipped, in a beautiful setting with a superb view over Todi and the Tiber valley. I love walking around there, looking for wild blackberries or figs, and sometimes spotting deer.
