Villa Sobrano sits among Umbria's rolling hills, with beautiful views of the Apennine Mountains, and it's only a 7 kilometer drive to Todi, the Etruscan town once called 'The World's most livable town.' It's a relaxing place to stay while traveling in Italy. The villa has two guest houses. One has a dining room decorated with traditional Italian paintings and a cozy fireplace for grilling and staying warm on cold winter evenings. Meals can be enjoyed inside or out on the deck, and the food is delicious: homemade pastas and sauces, wild boar, polenta, locally grown vegetables, and local wines. There's also a pool for cooling off and relaxing with friends or a good book. Lidia, the owner, is super nice and accommodating, and makes sure you enjoy your stay.

The landscape, the views, and the peace made for a wonderful stay. The rooms and breakfast were marvelous, and we highly recommend it. This lovely bed and breakfast is in a great location, about half an hour by car from Assisi, Perugia, Orvieto, and Spoleto, and an hour and a half from Rome and two hours from Florence.

Breakfast was generous, with fresh croissants and homemade cakes, and the room where it was served felt warm and charming. The lady and the staff were kind, too. Set among Todi’s green hills, it’s a lovely spot to unwind, and the property itself is pretty. Still, it feels a little neglected and could be much better. The decor is very retro.
