The location worked really well for visiting lots of interesting places, and two very well-stocked grocery stores are a few kilometers away. We stayed four nights and probably wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer. This was my first time at the Albergo Diffuso. Reception is right in the center of Tolmezzo, where we got a warm welcome, and Daniela can even walk you to your apartment if you like. The apartment was clean and just right for two, and luckily we didn’t have cold weather. Still, the rooms felt a bit chilly in the mid-season, so we used the blankets provided for the sofa. I missed having a small microwave, and the fridge was really tiny. The TV was awful: it runs through satellite and gets only about eight channels. I have TIM on my phone, but could only get emergency calls, which is unthinkable. They also didn’t offer a portable modem for internet at reception.

The homes are comfortable and clean every time, and the staff are welcoming, attentive, and always on the go. My only suggestion, which doesn’t change my rating, is to have Wi-Fi across the whole property. Highly recommended for a pleasant holiday.

The staff were so kind and helpful, and the house was spotless and had everything we needed. The setting and the house itself are simply stunning. I’ve never come across anything like it. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to relax in nature.

There are several apartments around Tolmezzo, and ours was ready with excellent cleaning and practical furnishings. The kitchen had everything: plates, pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, plus a moka pot with coffee and breakfast pastries. A great setup for a longer holiday in the Carnic Alps.

Daniela welcomed us and showed us around, and she was truly exceptional, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The apartment was beautiful and spotless, in a great spot for getting around while still being very quiet. We had an excellent stay!
