The holiday was completely ruined. The house was dirty and uncomfortable, with wasps, unidentified birds, and a gecko moving inside the bedroom walls. There was no TV. The sinks were blocked, so I had to clear them myself just to make showering possible, and water sprayed everywhere from the toilet. The park had no lighting, and the road in was dark, with wild boars crossing it. For a price higher than the quality, renting out an apartment like this is shameful. They should close it and go work the surrounding countryside instead. Strongly not recommended.

The garden was almost impossible to walk through, with dog mess everywhere and the smell of urine. We have a cat and a dog and love animals, but that was too much. At the pool, nails were sticking out of the wood, including around the children's pool, so we guests removed them ourselves to deal with the danger. I won't describe the adult pool; I'll let you imagine. Our bed was covered in dog hair, and the mattresses were so worn that one of us had to sleep on the bed and the other on the sofa bed, if you can call it that. Inside the house looked clean at first, though the patched-up exteriors of the houses had already raised concerns when we reached the supposed village. Our 2022 holiday should have been cancelled.

The staff are attentive, and the food is simple, like grandma makes, if you choose to eat there. The entertainment for kids and teenagers is top-notch. Days are spent around the pool, then there's the entertainment stage in the evenings and shows go on late. The sea is a 15-minute shuttle ride away, but you don't miss it. I came back to Elena Park after exactly 21 years. My parents brought us here years ago, and then we came back four years running. The atmosphere is still wonderful, and I found nothing had changed.

The pool and the peace of the place are the only good things, though that quiet is only in July and disappears in August. The apartment was in disgraceful condition, with poorly maintained kitchens using gas cylinders and bathrooms with water heaters that are both NON-COMPLIANT. It smelled of gas when we arrived because a cylinder was leaking, and they replaced it only after we called for the third time. Housekeeping was awful, the staff were rude, and they charge for everything, even a glass of water, shamefully 0.20 cents. The pet fee is excessive. There are no double beds, only singles, and the apartment barely has dishes. No Wi-Fi or TV in the apartment, only in the common area, and there's no laundry. Breakfast costs extra and is meager, just one croissant per person. You also pay extra for linens and the shuttle, which runs only until 1:30 PM and is very limited, plus who knows what else. The price is far too high for the services and for the owners' and staff's so-called professionalism. We weren't even shown to the apartment when we arrived. I don't recommend it. P.S. Be careful with booking-site photos such as Booking.com. The owner says they show “suites,” not shared apartments. They're playing on misunderstandings, so be careful.
