We arrived late on Sunday afternoon while the owner was clearing up after a busy lunch. She greeted us with a smile and friendly chat, then made the best hot chocolate I've had in a long time. I don't know what the rooms are like, but if I'm in the area again, I'd happily stop by for lunch.

The food was quite good and the price felt fair. We had a relaxed lunch in a welcoming atmosphere, and they were very friendly with the children.

We had a fantastic four-course meal, and the staff were the nicest. Dogs are very welcome here too, if you're travelling with your furry friend :)

The owner was lovely and hospitable, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch of regional food. The kids were delighted by the play area across the way.

After a long walk I stopped in for a break and had one of the best vin brulé I've ever tasted. The barwoman was really friendly.
