Hotel Lago

We loved staying here. The hotel is small, locally run, clean and modern, just what I was after. It’s a 10-minute walk from Torno’s main town area, and the views from the room were stunning. The room worked perfectly for our family of four, and the beds were comfortable. The shower was really nice, and breakfast offered a great variety of fruit. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, with fantastic views as well. The owner and staff are so friendly, remember you and are always helpful. I can’t say enough good things about the stay.

Roberto was one of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve met. He made sure we were looked after the whole visit, greeted us with a big smile each day and even helped arrange a proposal for my soon-to-be wife. It meant a lot to be able to relax without lifting a finger. The location was ideal, away from the busy parts of Bellagio and Como but still just a short ride from both. Our bedroom balcony had unbelievable views, and the food was five-star. Dinner with a bottle of wine paired by the chef was perfect. This place is incredible, and I’ll definitely stay here again.

This is dangerous. This guy threatened my mom and me, see the video. He took our bags and wouldn’t let us leave. See the police report below. We had to pay in full before booking, as the email confirms. We did not try to leave without paying. That’s a lie. Read his policy, you have to pay when you book. He isn’t licensed to shuttle guests either. He’s driving illegally. He’s a thief. Do not stay here. My 76-year-old mom had her bags aggressively ripped out of her hand, see photo and video to prove it. We reported you to Bellagio police too. Like your other review says, you lack integrity. You’re going to have issues moving forward. I’ll post this on all the US travel sites. Please see the other guest’s note in the photo, he got in his wife’s face. He is scary.

We had a lovely stay at this small hotel. The family all pitch in, and it works really well. The soundproof rooms have stunning views and comfortable beds. Breakfast had lots of variety, and the staff were very accommodating. We arrived early and they kindly offered us drinks overlooking the lake, then held our luggage while we went out and came back later. Free parking was a real plus. A perfect stay!
