Albergo Plaza Tornolo

The food and room were good. The restaurant has so much echo that it's really hard to talk with the people at your table. A few sound-absorbing panels would make the space much more inviting.

That clam spaghetti was 😋. Fantastic food.

The room could use some homey basics: curtains, coat hangers, and towel racks in the bathroom. The hotel has been renovated recently, and you can see some things were overlooked. Still, it's a very nice hotel in an excellent location, and my stay was very positive.

For my mom's birthday, the food was quite good, apart from the meat on the mixed grill not being cooked properly. The service, though, was terrible from beginning to end. It took 30 minutes to take our order because the waitress kept leaving whenever dishes came out of the kitchen. Getting the wine price and having the wine brought over was an ordeal. Since it was the kids' summer, we waited for the cake despite complaining several times. The worst part was having to go to the bar to order coffee while waitresses cleared tables beside us. The coffees arrived with no saucer, and the spoons were put straight on the table. We gave up on ordering a digestif, or we would've been there all night. I strongly advise against going there.
