Breakfast on the restaurant terrace was a lovely way to start the day, with excellent espresso and a nice view. The hotel is right in the city centre, just steps from the Duomo, so we could explore all of Florence on foot. Our room was spotless and cozy, with very comfortable beds, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great for convenience and cleanliness with a 10/10 location, without breaking the bank. We’ll definitely be back!

I walked everywhere for the 6 days I stayed and didn’t take a single taxi or bus. The position couldn’t be better! Rooms and bathrooms are huge and impeccably clean, with beautiful starched linen, fabulous air con, and window blinds so you can sleep whenever you like. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or obliging. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole stay and I’ll be back!

A few of us in our party stayed here, and we all agreed on how comfortable it was and on the hotel’s standard and quality. The location is fabulous, the rooms were cleaned daily and spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff are friendly and really helpful. We all said we’d definitely return, highly recommend it.

The bathroom was really narrow and a bit awkward to move around in, but the room itself was massive. The bed was great and comfortable, and the AC was a big help. The staff were great, and the location was perfect for our time in Florence. We had an amazing stay!

Even though it’s listed as a two star hotel, the location, cleanliness, and staff support make it feel like a 5 star. We stayed just one night right at the Douma, and it was comfortable and clean, with a lift. They also held our bags after checkout while we went exploring. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
