Il Magnifico Suite B

You can walk to everything from this great location, and our room had a lovely view. The stairwell and old elevator smelled a bit like a toilet, though. The staff don't speak English, so have a translation app ready.

AWESOME!! The room was spacious, neat, and really clean, with a super comfortable bed and lots of room in the shower. The pickup at FLR also went smoothly. I'd stay here again if I'm back in Florence. 🥰

The room itself was very comfortable, although it got a little too hot even with the heating switched off. The breakfast setup, though, left us feeling a bit cheated. We shared a kitchen and had to make breakfast ourselves, but the food provided was very basic and cheap. Other guests ate it, then left the kitchen messy. We couldn't even make coffee without first cleaning the pot. We'd paid extra for coffee and breakfast at a cafe around the corner, and there was also a cleaning charge. During the whole stay, we made our own bed and had just one set of sheets and towels, with no fresh ones. They could think through the breakfast arrangement more, set out a buffet with more tables and chairs like most hotels and B&Bs, or offer rooms only. In hindsight, we should have rented an apartment.

The location in the center of Florence, right by the Duomo, was unbeatable. My wife and I had a great time here. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were kind.
