Surrounded by greenery, this elegant B&B has been renovated with care and good taste. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent, with an enchanting view of the Gulf of Sapri. The pool is wonderful and refreshing. The owner is kind and very helpful, including with ideas for alternatives to the beach.

The location is up in the hills behind Sapri, so you need a car to get there. Finding it can be tricky the first time, though once you know the roads and shortcuts, it’s easy. The old stately building has been renovated tastefully, and it’s comfortable and incredibly relaxing. The garden’s large pool is lovely, a welcome way to cool off after a scorching summer day, and helps make up for being some distance from the beaches and sea. Breakfast was fantastic, with excellent local products and a beautiful Gulf of Sapri view. Mrs. Ires’s cakes and jams were a real treat!

The people are very kind, and the place itself is beautiful, clean, elegant, and has a lovely view. Breakfasts are excellent, and the pool is very nice. It’s quite isolated up in the mountains, with the sea far away, so you need a car for everything. The road is difficult and very steep, and a suitable car is best.

Set in an exceptional spot above the Gulf of Sapri, this B&B has an excellent infinity pool and complete quiet. The owner is incredibly friendly, and her homemade cakes and jams are a delight.
