B&B Holiday

The only things I appreciated were the air conditioning and that the lady kindly lent us a charger for one night after we'd forgotten ours. Everything else left me with a very negative impression, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. The kitten was the saddest part. I could hear it crying inside the property or garage area for days, apparently hungry, and eventually I bought food for it myself. When I mentioned it to the lady, she seemed indifferent. The next day it had disappeared, which really upset me. Getting in and out of the garage was a hassle because we had no direct access. Each time we needed the car, we had to message on WhatsApp for someone to open the gate. They usually answered quickly, but it became frustrating. Communication was hard too, since almost nobody spoke English. On our first day they wanted an €8 tax in cash, and there wasn't an ATM nearby. I explained we'd be going out to dinner and could bring the money back that evening, but they pressured us to pay immediately. It made for an unpleasant welcome after travelling. The bedding made me uncomfortable enough that I bought my own sheets and pillow covers rather than use what was provided. The shower drain was clogged, so water collected during showers and flooded the bathroom floor. We stayed from the 10th to the 14th and were given only two toilet paper rolls for the entire stay, with no replacements. There was just one new pair of slippers. When I asked for another, they showed me used ones, which felt completely inappropriate. Breakfast was extremely limited, just bread, juice, milk, coffee, and tea. The place also didn't live up to the photos or what I expected.

The room was very clean, and we got a warm welcome when we arrived. Breakfast was excellent and made with fresh ingredients. This B&B is ideally placed for visiting the Pompeii ruins. I was very happy with our stay and hope to return soon. I highly recommend it.
