Villa Manto - Torre Annunziata Pompei

The rooms were spacious, clean, and new, with a big, comfortable bed and a mattress that wasn’t too soft. There’s air conditioning, juice and still water in a fridge compartment, bath amenities, a proper hairdryer, automatic shutters and gates, a nice bathroom, and free parking. It had what we needed to feel comfortable and welcome. The host was kind and quick to help us find an alternative when recent regulations meant the kitchen couldn’t be used for cooking. The historic Pompeii site is an easy 20-minute walk, and the town center takes about 30 minutes. We missed the entrance the first time because it’s on a side street. Thanks so much for a lovely stay. We were very happy here.

Whenever I’m in Napoli, this is my go-to place. Gulio is really nice and goes out of his way to make sure you’re accommodated. Everything’s top notch. Highly recommend.

The location worked especially well for us as we were traveling by public transport. Torre Annunziata Centrale station is only a six-minute walk away, and check-in is available 24/7, which was handy when we arrived late. There’s a supermarket a few steps along the way to the station, and Plinio is just around the corner for pizza, panuozzo, and plenty of fried and baked snacks. We came twice in 2022, once with my boyfriend in May and again with my mum in September. Both stays were comfortable, with clean, modern rooms and a high standard, in a quiet, less touristy part of town. Pompeii’s excavations are about a 15-20 minute walk away, and Torre Annunziata has Villa di oplontis di Poppaea to visit too. It’s a comfortable, good-value place for a holiday. They took us in at the last minute, and the staff were so friendly. We got good coffee, croissants, and helpful tips about what to see in Napoli. Such a good experience, I’d recommend it 100%.
