Hotel Villa Belfiori

The garden looked beautiful and comfortable for dining, but when we asked to sit outside, we were directed to the indoor dining area instead. We refused, and got the silent treatment. There was no lunch being served when we first arrived, and the guy couldn't suggest an alternative. Apparently that was our problem. We got there at 14:00 after a long bike ride in the sun, and the first thing we were met with was, "documenti!"

The evenings on the terrace were superb, and we liked the friendly staff and the generous, good dinners. The apartment was quiet and had a nice sea view. At first, we were surprised to find it about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, rather than in the hotel itself. After that initial shock, the distance actually became an advantage. The downsides were the distance from the beach, no air conditioning, and hundreds of mosquitoes that made us suffer. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, though it was available in the hotel lobby. If those things don't bother you, enjoy your stay. We did.

Thank you, Raffaella, for making us feel right at home. The food was amazing and the service was perfect. We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant, a must if you're in the area. See you in Sappada ;)

I never signed up or had any business relationship with them, but they keep spamming me by email. I was never a customer at that Hotel. Update, 27.12.2018, I'm still getting spam mails. When will their ISP disconnect them and their hoster shut down their website? Please help report them!
