We were very glad to find Casa Torrese, and we’ll definitely return. It’s centrally located, about a ten-minute walk from the town centre and a short walk to the Circumvesuviana station, with Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, and Hercolano easy to reach. The port is around twenty minutes away on foot; from there we took a boat straight to Amalfi and Positano, which was easier than going through Naples or Sorrento. Lorenzo was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. Our apartment and room were very clean and felt like home. We slept and ate well. The room had an en-suite, air con, fridge, and balcony, where it was lovely to sit and watch life go by. Breakfast was excellent, freshly made with a wide choice of sweet or savoury food. The homemade apricot marmalade was especially delicious. Thanks, Casa Torrese.

Getting around was easy, with Torre del Greco Circumvesuviana station only a five-minute walk away. The manager was kind and happy to chat over breakfast, sharing tips on what to see and how to travel around. Breakfast itself was enjoyable and the quality was excellent. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and each had its own bathroom.
