The gardens, with their citrus trees and quiet paths, were a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine in the afternoon. Breakfast was fresh, generous, and carefully presented, and the peaceful terrace setting made it hard to rush away. Our spacious room was serene, with a bed worth mentioning on its own. Villa De Cillis Carafa feels like a private Italian home that is beautifully cared for. Antonio and Michele welcomed us warmly, looked after things attentively, and never intruded. The historic architecture is elegant, and the high ceilings, antique furniture, tiled floors, and thoughtful details give the interiors real character. The atmosphere is quiet, romantic, and relaxing, with luxury that still feels welcoming rather than pretentious or cold. We’d return in a heartbeat. Breakfast on the terrace was a great start to the day. We also liked having a secure, enclosed place to park the car. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful, and the villa itself was beautiful, full of character, and furnished with antiques. The spacious garden added to the charm. A lovely mix of comfort, history, and hospitality, thank you :)

We were given a lovely room upgrade, which made our arrival feel even more special. The room had soft light through the windows and thoughtful design details, with an amazing view of Capri in the distance and Mount Vesuvius on the horizon. From the warm greetings and genuine smiles onward, it felt like stepping into a scene from an Italian film. This stay will absolutely be the highlight of our trip, and one we’ll want to relive.
