We loved the garden, especially the lovely jasmine smell at night. Fernanda at reception was the best part: she welcomed us with a big smile and gave us great tips each day on places to visit and eat. My boyfriend and I spent a fantastic long weekend in July at Borgo Latino. We wanted somewhere near the centre, and it ticked all the boxes. We left the car in the parking space and walked to Torre Dell'orso and the beach. Our second-floor room had a cute balcony with a great view, plus a fridge and a welcome kit with tea and coffee, which we really appreciated. We'll definitely be back next summer. Quality/price 10/10!

Comfort and service were pretty minimal, though I suppose that's what comes with one of the area's lowest prices.

The internal garden is beautiful, with lush plants and guest areas including a picnic spot, barbecue, spice rack and laundry room. It separates the residence from a residential area damaged by property speculation. Inside the apartment, though, there's a persistent musty smell and gas smell from the stove's gas cylinder. The accommodation is spartan overall, with an outdated bathroom, a very narrow shower and old, inefficient windows. They provided a dishwashing kit but no body wash. Towels can be rented.
