The pool was amazing and so relaxing. Our host was really friendly and had plenty to tell us about the area. Thanks for a lovely five days!

Carla, the owner, was charming and happy to help, and the building has wonderful views. The rooms and apartments are all pleasant, especially the ones on the second floor. We had a very nice stay in this beautiful place on a family estate, where you can still see the remains of a Vauban fort. A couple of things to know: breakfast isn’t included if you book a room rather than an apartment. They provide only an electric kettle, coffee pods, and tea. The pool is a good size at 6-12 meters, but it isn’t heated.

The property itself is beautiful, but the welcome was lacking. I felt like a stranger in somebody else’s home. I was the only guest, apart from a couple of the owners’ friends, which made the whole thing feel surreal. It’s a shame, because they don’t seem suited to running a B&B.

The apartment was clean, and the place was lovely, peaceful, and close to the village.
