Breakfast on the terrace, looking out over the sea and Abruzzo’s mountains with the house cats nearby, was a lovely part of our stay. Gioia and Nicola made us feel at home from the start with their simple, genuine hospitality, and they left a different delicious homemade cake in our room each evening for breakfast. Their tips were invaluable, from places to visit and good beaches to upcoming events and where parking would be easiest, even during the week of August. The B&B is surrounded by nature but well placed for getting to the sea, the mountains, and the beautiful lakes at Scanno and Barrea. We spent 10 unforgettable days here, at a very affordable price even in high season.

The Abruzzo hills and sea view were lovely, and it was only 10 minutes to the beach. Our room was new and spotless, and breakfast came with delicious homemade desserts. We felt warmly welcomed and well looked after during our summer vacation. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Gioia’s sweets and the organic products they offer were a lovely bonus after a day at the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the B&B is surrounded by greenery, with real care for the environment and guests’ well-being. And Lucky the Cat is always around for cuddles and purrs. See you soon!

Gioia and Nicola made us feel so welcome, and Gioia spoiled us with garden figs, spelt biscuits, and a two-tone ring cake. The hills of Abruzzo rolling down toward the sea, the flowers and fruit trees, and the cats’ company all made the place feel like a dream. It was so quiet, with only nature and the wind to hear. After dinner at the restaurant, we’d come back and say to each other, “Now let’s go home,” rather than “back to the B&B.” That says it all about how wonderful the stay was. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable, spotless, and had every comfort, with a fabulous view. From the house, you can see the sea on one side and Maiella on the other, surrounded by a lovely garden and spectacular scenery. Gioia and Nicola are wonderful, incredibly kind people, and a pleasure to chat with. It’s a special place for a fantastic, relaxing break. Definitely worth trying. I hope to return soon.
