Albergo Del Garda

We've returned three times over the years. It's a cozy little hotel right by Lake Garda, with direct beach access, very friendly staff, spotless linens and towels, rooms cleaned to a high standard, and a decent breakfast. The views are beautiful, and there's a fairly large parking lot, though on our most recent visit it was crowded and finding a space was a bit of a problem. The hotel deserves its two stars. A couple of things caught us out. Local noise rules mean you can't sit outside after 11 p.m., and the bar closes around then too, so you need to plan ahead if you want water later in the evening. We were with friends who had to leave earlier than expected. They were charged the full cost of the two nights they missed, which surprised us, since many hotels would usually charge only 30% in that situation. It was a little unpleasant, but we didn't take it further. We ended up using their room ourselves because it had a better lake view.

The quieter beach across the road was a nice surprise. It's just across the street, and the hotel is also quite close to the center of Torri del Benaco. The rooms were clean, breakfast had lots to choose from, and the staff were lovely and welcoming. We'll come back! Big thanks to everyone there.

The staff were warm and friendly, and breakfast was delicious. From my balcony I could watch the lake and the sunset, which made the stay memorable. Albergo del Garda exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommend!
