The place is so wonderful that I can’t give it six stars, and the management team is even better. Francesco, his girlfriend and his mother are the very definition of Italian hospitality. Cordiales saludos Barbara, Darek y Bongo. I almost don’t want everyone to discover it, because then it won’t feel like it’s just for me.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is very good. The hotel is close to the lake, and despite the main road, you don’t hear the cars at night. But the rooms and furnishings are very old and worn, with an 80s feel at 2024 prices. The air conditioning isn’t like the usual hotel system: it cools very little, is very loud, and the rooms get very warm, especially in summer. The hotel shares the electricity for this system. Parking in the hotel’s own lot is limited, so there can be bottlenecks in high season. The price and what you get are poorly matched.

We’d paid in advance for room no 22 on the ground floor. It had an unpleasant smell, and the fan was very loud but barely effective. Right outside the window, a huge generator made a loud noise every five minutes. It was a nightmare and we couldn’t sleep. There was no view, just metal stairs, some garbage and the generator. It’s a pity we spent the first night of our long-awaited holiday in those conditions.

We had a really nice stay here. The owners were very friendly, and the location is hard to beat: the lake is a two-minute walk away, with all the restaurants about five minutes away. Definitely worth staying.

A great spot for a couple of days. The family atmosphere, lovely people, and tasty breakfast made it a very pleasant stay, and the location is really good too.
