The view really is as fantastic as other reviews say, and the apartment was clean and fairly well equipped. We stayed three nights in early May and used the train to visit Rome and Orto; Tivoli was also an easy drive, so it worked well as a base. We could check in a few hours early, and the welcome was very friendly. A few things fell short of what we expected: the pool wasn't open yet, we didn't see any animals apart from the owner's dogs, and renovation work was going on downstairs. The shower curtain made it tricky to keep the bathroom dry, and the spring mattresses and sheets with blankets felt a bit old-fashioned. The photo shows the apartment from the train.

We came as a family for three days and had a lovely, peaceful stay surrounded by greenery, yet only a short distance from Rome. Andrea and his parents were so kind and helpful, and Andrea was happy to suggest places to explore in the Tevere Farfa Nature Reserve. Mornings came with homemade breakfast, including his mother's ring cakes and freshly picked figs and grapes. There was a pool for a refreshing swim, too. I also bought some of their fruit jams, which were delicious. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking to relax and explore.

The owners were cheerful, warm hosts, and we enjoyed hearing stories about their interesting lives. We spent a wonderful day and night here on May 1, 2022, in a simple attic apartment. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed to cook. Best of all was the little terrace, where we ate with a magnificent view and caught an unforgettable sunrise. It's a picturesque agriturismo overlooking the hills and the Tiber River. There are friendly cats around, two cute dogs, and an aviary with geese, a peacock, roosters, and chickens, which kids will love. The outdoor pool is a great extra. Nearby, there's a horse farm where you can book rides, and you can take a boat trip on the Tiber or explore the medieval village of Torrita Tiberina.

A peaceful oasis with wonderfully helpful hospitality from Andrea and his family. The farmhouse has what you need for a relaxing holiday, and the pool is lovely for cooling off on hot summer days. We'll try to come back.
